What the 1MORE Q21 Actually Offers

Earbuds that claim to pack premium features at a reasonable price are everywhere, and most of them disappoint somewhere obvious. I spent time with the 1MORE Q21 Wireless Earbuds to see whether they actually deliver or just look good on a spec sheet.

What These Are

The Q21 are wireless earbuds built around a few headline features: QuietMax Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res LDAC audio support, and 12mm titanium drivers. That combination would cost significantly more on a pair of Sony or Bose buds. The pitch here is that you get those capabilities without paying flagship prices. Whether 1MORE pulls that off is the real question.

What I Noticed

The LDAC support is the thing I kept coming back to. LDAC is Sony’s high-resolution Bluetooth codec, and it allows for lossless-quality audio streaming when your source device supports it. On a standard pair of wireless earbuds you just don’t get that. Paired with the 12mm titanium drivers, the Q21 produces sound that’s noticeably punchy with low distortion. Titanium diaphragms tend to be stiffer than standard polymer ones, which helps with transient response. You can actually hear the difference on tracks with fast percussion or detailed highs.

The QuietMax ANC worked well in my testing. It handles consistent background noise like HVAC hum and commuter rumble effectively. It’s not magic, but it does what ANC is supposed to do.

Calls were cleaner than I expected. The AI dual-microphone noise reduction does a real job of separating your voice from ambient sound. People I called didn’t complain about background noise, which is honestly the bar that matters.

Multipoint connectivity lets you stay paired to two devices at once. So your phone and laptop can both be connected, and switching between them doesn’t require going into settings. For anyone who splits time between a computer and a phone, that’s genuinely useful.

IPX5 water resistance means sweat and light rain aren’t a concern. These will hold up during a workout or a drizzly commute. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours total, which is enough to get through a workweek of daily use without stressing about charging.

Who These Fit

If you’re already paying attention to audio quality and want LDAC support without spending a lot, the Q21 makes a strong case. Same goes for anyone who commutes regularly and needs reliable ANC plus clear call quality in one pair. The IPX5 rating makes them usable for fitness too, so they’re not limited to desk use.

They’re probably not the right pick if you already own a flagship pair and are just looking for a marginal upgrade. But for someone moving up from basic wireless earbuds or shopping their first pair with real noise cancellation, the feature set here is hard to argue with.

Honest Take

The Q21 puts a lot in the box. LDAC, ANC, titanium drivers, multipoint, IPX5, and solid call quality are each things you’d normally have to compromise on at this price tier. I didn’t find a glaring weak spot during my time with them. If 1MORE’s goal was to make a well-rounded daily driver that doesn’t ask you to sacrifice a key feature for affordability, they did it.
